Projects and Case Studies

Projects and Case Studies

Farm - Moonacres
Ground Mount Solar Panels (Power generation)

Following extensive testing, the 82kW Solar and 120kWh Redflow Battery solution at Moonacres' "Farming the Sun" site has now been fully commissioned.

"Not only are we saving money on our bills, we're generating power and exporting to the grid. This income was not envisaged in the initial specs, but has a lot of potential. In the wild weather, we sat pretty while the grid went down. I love not dragging the generator out!" -Phil Lavers, Farm Manager

Rosnay Organic – Family farm producing olives, figs and natural wines
Aerial shot of Rosnay Organic vineyards

Rosnay is a Certified Organic wine producer in Central Western NSW. All Rosnay wines start life as grapes grown and harvested on the property; hand harvesting, processing and slow maturation processes then follow.

By investing significant capital to install a 30kW three phase Solar PV system with a 40kWh Redflow three phase battery system, The boutique winery have increased their future processing capacity, reduced operational costs, ultimately reducing their reliance on fossil fuels.

An on-farm energy system comprising solar panels, flow batteries and peer to peer energy trading is reducing costs and creating capacity for more on-site value-adding at this organic vineyard and orchard in Canowindra, NSW.
